Are you having pain in the low back/pelvis that prevents you from sitting for long periods work?

Are you have pain in the back of the pelvis (sacroiliac-SIJ) when driving, bending or standing for long periods of time?

Are you have pain that wraps into the groin causing other symptoms?

Are you continuing to have groin pain and other symptoms after taken antibiotics for Prostatitis?

Frequently these symptoms are caused by restrictions in some joints (low back, pelvis and hips) and too much mobility in other joints. This causes some muscles to  becoming over active and other muscles becoming underactive. Because this may be a muscle and/or joint concern, it can leave many doctors such as Urologist, Orthopedist and some Primary Care Physicians without an answer for you.  Unfortunately, many of these providers do not understand the expertise that a specially trained Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist has.

What's included in an evaluation?
Treatment is custom designed to your specific concerns after a though evaluation is performed.
Elements frequently included in the first session
  • Joint mobility to reduce pain
  • Manual care is given to release tight muscles
  • Education on what is causing your pain and how to reduce your pain
  • Recommended exercises to reduce and manage your pain and concerns if needed
Treatment takes 3-5 sessions for significant relief.  If appropriate, then you will be given self-treatment instructions and a restorative exercise program for between visits.
